I've been a teacher for over thirty years (eep). It's been a pleasure, but it's been less of one over the last few years than it used to be. There's this great song called "Quitting" by Ian McConnell (I recommend him -- look him up) that kind of sums up how I feel now: Anyway, I'm retiring at the end of this school year -- and I'm not sure what comes next, but it's definitely time for me to start learning and discovering new things again. I'm kind of excited about that.
